Jack O’Rourke
Jack grew up in Providence, graduated from La Salle Academy and then served four years in the U.S Marine Corps. When he returned to Rhode Island, he earned a bachelor’s degree from Providence College. He started in the insurance industry as an underwriter with the Travelers Insurance Company in their Providence office before founding the O’Rourke Insurance Agency in 1974. He built the agency by providing every client with excellent service and serving as a trusted insurance resource for both personal and business insurance clients.
Jack continues to work with clients today, and his extraordinary knowledge of the insurance industry is an indispensable asset for the agency. He is particularly active in serving business clients to ensure that their insurance coverage meets their needs and their budget.
Jack lives in Narragansett with his wife Julie. They have 4 grown children, all of whom live in Rhode Island, and 15 grandchildren. Weather permitting, Jack can often be found on the golf course or the tennis court. His grandchildren are still trying to beat him in either sport!
